The Stonewall Brigade & Southern Soldiers' Remembrance Fund

Hollywood CemeterySince 2000, the Stonewall Brigade has been working with the Southern Soldiers' Remembrance Fund (SSRF www.southernsoldiers.com) to mark original Stonewall Brigade soldiers' graves at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, Virginia. Through the generosity of the men and women of the today's Stonewall Brigade, the organization has donated $1600 toward the project, marking the graves of sixteen original brigade members.

The first three stones placed were dedicated in a ceremony by members of today's Stonewall Brigade on August 3rd, 2002.

Then on October 25, 2003, the SWB held a dedication ceremony at Hollywood to place flags on the graves of thirteen additional original brigade member's resting place;

Today's Stonewall Brigade members take great pride in helping to memorialize these men's efforts so that future generations can know of the sacrifices that these men made for their country.

The Brigade also prides itself on its participation in events that are put on for educational purposes and that make donations to preservation.
